Software By Design’s AUTH allows IBM Cognos users to tie user permissions to alternate entitlement sources that are not available with IBM Cognos “out of the box.” Presently, IBM Cognos software gives clients the ability to tie into many main stream enterprise entitlement systems such as Active Directory, LDAP and Site Minder, but does not allow for hooks into home grown or third party security solutions. Our authorization and entitlements solution allows companies to leverage and utilize a wide variety of other systems.
